Ammoudi is 7 km away East of Plakias, 10 minutes walk from Damnoni beach. It has coarse white sand and rocky seabed, ideal for diving or masking, while its waters are bright green. To the West, between two elongated rocks, is a stunning tiny beach with sand and turquoise waters. This beach is called Klisidi, where there is a distinguished rock coming out of the sea. Of all the beaches of Southern Crete, Klisidi may be the most well-kept secret place. To the West of Klisidi Beach, there is Mikro Ammoudi or Ammoudaki beach with turquoise waters and thick white sand. These two beaches border underwater, as a hole in a rock under the water takes you from one beach to another with only one dive!
