Characteristic of Plakias is Paligremnos, the rock that rises on the left edge of the beach. It is a completely vertical slope of limestone rock, with impressive slits, which attracts the interest of many climbing friends. The structure and shape of the rock gives the opportunity to climb not only to advanced but also to new climbers.
